Description

"WCNC" is a volunteer based non-profit Oregon corporation with IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Our mission is to rehabilitate injured, sick, orphaned and displaced native wildlife with the goal of releasing healthy, viable wildlife back into the appropriate habitat. We operate under permits issued by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife and the US Fish & Wildlife Service. Our licensed rehabber is Executive Director Sharnelle Fee.

Wildlife Center of the North Coast is the only wildlife care hospital on the Central and North Oregon coast and provides professional medical care for all native wild birds and animals. We assist over 2,000 wildlife patients each year. Our Center is an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization with 100% of each donation dollar going directly to the care of wildlife.

We do not receive funding from any government agencies. Our Center relies totally on public donations and special-event fundraisers to pay for its daily operation.
