Description

Westchester Community Opportunity Program, Inc. (WestCOP ) is a private not-for-profit, multipurpose social service agency operating community programs to combat poverty and its adverse effects in Westchester and Putnam counties. The Mamaroneck Community Action Program (CAP) Center has been a leader in innovating new services and programs over the last 38 years, in response to the ever-evolving needs of the vibrant and diverse Greater Mamaroneck community. Some of them, such as our Meals-on-Wheels and Food Pantry programs, have been replicated by community centers and social service operations throughout the county and around the country. We enjoy the active support and respect of the town, its citizens, churches and other organizations and work closely with various community and county agencies to deliver goods, services, guidance, referrals and programs to enhance the quality of lives for our clients and, by extension, the entire community.
