History website about La Mott, PA and Camp William Penn the home of the first federally trained U.S. Army Colored Troops. The site studies the growth of the entire Cheltenham PA area of which La Mott is a part. The site includes many hyperlinks to the Civil War as well as a listing of the histories of the 11 regiments trained at the camp. The site references surrounding areas and includes references to famous people who were connected with the area. The site was the launching pad for the 2006 National History Teacher of the Year.
