Description
The West Windsor-Plainsboro Education Foundation, Inc. is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the continued excellence of the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional Schools. The foundation's goals are to: foster creativity and promote excellence in the arts, humanities, language arts, mathematics and science; advance the use of leading-edge technology in the classroom; and develop community and business partnerships in support of education.
Above all, the foundation promotes excellence in the all 10 public schools, through grant programs that promote innovation in the classroom and involvement of parents and community. Since its inception, $160,000 in mini-grants has been awarded for over 200 innovative projects in the public schools. The foundation is supported entirely by donations from individuals and local businesses.
