Volunteer Services for Animals has worked with local municipal shelters for the past 27 years. We have 5 chapters and we are the West Warwick chapter. We work to help find homes for the animals in the shelter we work with. If the animal's time is up or the shelter runs out of room we try to get them into our foster care program to give them more time to get adopted. Any animal coming to us in need of medical care we take to one of our vets and do what is necessary to help better the animals chances of getting adopted. We work with all our animals to try to give people as much information on the animal as we can and to find the most suitable home for them. We want everyone to be happy! We offer spay/neuter assistants to those who need it in RI. We have a sucessful TNR (trap/neuter/return) program for feral cats to reduce the overpopulation of of unwanted cats.
