Description
Wellsprings Friends School is an independent, non-profit alternative high school, founded in 1994. We offer small classes and a variety of learning/teaching styles in a nurturing environment. We strive to educate the whole individual, socially and emotionally as well as academically. We stress nonviolent resolution of conflict, and working together in community. Most of our students come to us through referrals from school districts throughout Lane County. Other students come on a private, tuition-paying basis. Applications are accepted at any time throughout the school year. We are accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC).
