Description
An education organization, serving Charlotte-Mecklenburg and the surrounding area. Our mission is to provide weather and meteorology education within the context of North Carolina's science education curriculum, in order to support elementary school teachers and engage students in the learning of science. Our goal is to use the shared experience of weather and climate to connect with students, foster greater interest in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and improve levels of achievement in science among elementary students.
