Houston's Youth Program for Enrichment - H.Y.P.E. is the youth division of Waymaker Life Strategies, Inc., a non profit organization that has been serving children and families in the Southeast area of Houston, Texas since 1999. Waymaker's mission is to empower people with knowledge for successful living by providing education enrichment services to families beyond school hours. Waymaker, through its youth division, H.Y.P.E., provides enrichment services through a national literacy program called Children's Defense Fund Freedom Schools.
