Washington Association for the Education of Young Children (WAEYC) is the premier professional association for those working with children ages birth through eight years old in Washington State. An affiliate of NAEYC, the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children, WAEYC champions, validates and advances high-quality education and care leading to improved outcomes and success for young children.
WAEYC improves the quality of early learning experiences for young children by targeting the systems, programs, and professionals that define and create these learning environments. With 11 local Affiliate Chapters and 1,600 members throughout the state, we bring together people, resources, proven programs and best practices to help create the early learning supports and services Washington families need.
