Description

Operates a youth music arts proram which includes: a two week live-in summer music camp; weekend music camps; free lessons by professional music teachers; free instruments; active outreach to low-income children and handicapped children; professional and career development support for practicing public school teachers and college music education students; in-school internships for college students who assist school music teachers by providing individual and group lessons, office support, and event assistance in public schools and private schools for handicapped children; year-round concert band for middle and high school students; summer marching band; summer performance tours; year-round performances for local community events by the concert band, field band, and parade band.
