Description

Warm Heart's Mission is to prevent trafficking at its source, by creating sustainable community development that honors the past and builds a better future.

The heart of Warm Heart is the Children's Homes, providing safe housing, financial support, and extracurricular English education to Hill Tribe children.

We run free Microenterprise trainings on how to start a small business, then give small Microfinance loans to get that business off the ground.

Other current and future programs include: Clinic in the Clouds: providing emergency health care in inaccessible areas; Women Weavers Project: preserving tradional Thai culture through cotton and silk weaving; Hill Tribe Head Start: preschool for children in remote mountain village; and Project Positive: supporting HIV+ teens and their caregivers.

Warm Heart is community based, in the rural village of Phrao, northern Thailand. We are Thai staff and international volunteers working together.
