Description
We are a small (115 students) rural school located near Newton, Kansas. Recently we recieved approval to become a 21st Century Rural Life School. What that means in a nut shell is we will be able to put learning in the hands of our children through agriculture. This is still in the planning stage as we just recieved the grant in late April. Some of the ideas we are looking at is a green house and live stock. The kids would research the best fertilizers, feed, etc. Math, reading & science hands on.
