Description
The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail Association supports and manages a 12.2 mile nonmotorized multiuse recreational trail in the Mid-Hudson valley in New York State. In June, 2007, our trail was designated a National Recreation Trail by the National Park Service and the U.S. Department of the Interior. It traverses three municipalities and is open to the public free of charge. Runners, hikers, bicyclists, horseback riders, and, in the winter, snowshoers and cross-country skiers enjoy our trail.
