Description
Walk-In Couseling Center is an agency that provides mental health services for people without an appointment or insurance; it is the only of its kind in the United States. WICC provides a variety of services which address unmet mental health needs. These include crisis intervention and short-term counseling to people who do not have access to other services which is provided without fees. WICC also provides consultation to individuals and organizations on a variety of service issues. Finally, it provides training locally and nationally on a number of issues. WICC is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.
