Walk for Autism - Augusta raises funds for children diagnosed with autism. Autism is a devistating disorder that affects 1 in out of every 167 children and affects their ability to communicate, learn, and relate to others.
The funds raised by Walk for Autism - Augusta pay for one-on-one educational therapy services desperately needed by the children but most often not covered by insurance. This therapy has been instrumental in recovering many autistic children and for others has dramatically improved their quality of life.
We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been faithfully serving Augusta and its surrounding communities since 2000. We are 100% run by volunteers and 90% plus of the money we raise goes straight to the children.
