Description
An independent non-profit school with pre-school through 8th. Established in 1972. Serving approzimately 170 students. Recognized as a full member in the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America since 1990. The Waldorf School of Mendocino County is part of a worldwide community of schools working out of the ideas and indications developed by Rudolf Steiner over 80 years ago for the first Waldorf School. There are now approzimately 200 Waldorf Schools in north America and over 900 worldwide, double the number just a decade ago. Waldorf is possibly the fastest growing educational movement in the world today.
