The Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado’s (VRCC) Animal Care Foundation (“ACF”) is a community-based nonprofit organization that promotes the human-animal bond through programming that provides emotional, medical and financial support to help people and animals heal one another.
Pet owners often have to make difficult medical decisions for their pets that they would not have to make if money were not a factor. The Gratis Medicine Program has been established to help pet owners in this situation.

We operate locally through pediatric oncology facilities and specialty veterinary practices. Through a pen-pal program, incredible children receiving cancer treatment are put directly in touch with special animals with similar cancers.
The Pet Loss Support and Outreach Program is a free service provided by the ACF, created to help those who are coping with the loss of a pet.
