Description
The mission of Volunteer San Diego is to engage individuals and groups in meaningful volunteer opportunities that meet real community needs. By connecting people of any age, background and ability with nonprofits throughout San Diego County, Volunteer San Diego makes volunteering a way of life.
Volunteer San Diego coordinates a network of over 36,000 volunteers and connects them to 800 nonprofits who feed our homeless, serve our seniors, read to our kids, clean our parks and beaches, and make numerous other invaluable contributions to our community. In addition to providing volunteers for service throughout the county, Volunteer San Diego programs also assist companies, schools and nonprofits in developing volunteer programs to engage San Diego’s human capital in strengthening the community.
