Description
Volunteer Med Partners is a project of The Young-Marquardt Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Carrboro, NC. Volunteer Med Partners' mission is to provide medical and health care to underserved areas.
Our specific efforts are focused on the rural Ecuadorian town of Mindo. We are working closely with the Mindo community to create an emergency/urgent clinic in this area which desperately lacks health care services.
The goal is for the clinic to be a sustainable community resource which will help decrease disability and death and increase health.
