Description
VIVA (Volunteers in Victim Assistance) is a full service center for victims, witnesses or survivors of violent crime and traumatic injury (homicide, assault, drunk driving, elder abuse, robberies, family violence, child abuse/neglect, sexual assault, and motor vehicle accidents). Our trained therapists and counselors provide individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and follow-up counseling. For the young victims of crime, we offer "Project Hands On," our post-trauma expressive arts therapy program. As an additional comfort, VIVA offers ongoing homicide, sudden death, and crime victims support groups. We also have highly skilled staff to provide personal and criminal justice advocacy to assist victims in their struggle of moving from victim to survivor.
