Description
Vista Hermosa was founded in 1988 to serve farmworking families of Vista Hermosa and surrounding communities. We operate New Horizon Center for 91 children ages 0-5. In 1995, we also opened Vista Hermosa Elementary, a year-round Christian school for Latino students in grades K-6.
It was felt that many students were being under-served in the public school system. Our intent was to provide a safe and loving environment in which students could excel at their individual speed and skill level, and gain the individual attention needed to develop strong academic, social, and spiritual skills. With these skills, they go on to excel academically and to pursue God’s dream for them in the world.
