Description
Virtua Health is a multi-hospital healthcare organization in Southern NJ. Its mission is to deliver a world class patient experience through its programs of excellence in women's health, pediatrics, cancer, cardiology, orthopedics and geriatrics. Virtua employs 7,100 clinical and administrative personnel and has 1,800 physicians as medical staff members.
The Virtua Health Foundation serves to enhance the mission of Virtua Health through the development of philanthropic resources and the support of community education and outreach. Contributions are used to support capital improvements and other worthy programs to meet the needs of Virtua and the community it serves. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, making contributions tax deductible as allowed by law.
