Virginia21 is an action-tank involving young people from across the Commonwealth of Virginia in the political process by providing information, directing advocacy and coordinating political action on a non-partisan issue agenda. Virginia21 is the Commonwealth’s and the country’s first true generational advocate for young people: the AARP of the next generation. Virginia21’s agenda focuses beyond the next election cycle, on policies that matter to building a better future for Virginia: Acting today to shape tomorrow. The chief goal of Virginia21 is to mobilize 18-24 year old Virginians, a systematically underrepresented group of voters, in support of the core services that matter to their future.
