an organization founded in 1977 by internationally famous family therapist, Virginia Satir, as a forum for the continual evolution of Satir theory and practice, its practitioners, and the world community which has members in over 20 countries, with 21 Institutes on five continents. The Virginia Satir Global Network operates from its headquarters in Seatac, Washington. It is governed by a voluntary board, and is designated a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
