The purpose of this Association shall be to unify and promote the best interests of all members of the Volunteer Rescue Squads of Virginia Beach
- Promote system cooperation in emergency care in the City of Virginia Beach
- Increase public awareness of the volunteers
- Develop and execute an effective EMS volunteer recruitment program
- Serve as a platform for innovative ideas, resolve mutual problems, plan for future growth and promote efficiency
- Promote and preserve the continuation of a strong volunteer emergency rescue service through leadership development
- Nurture the welfare of the volunteer members and their families through benefit programs
