Description
Village Vida Centre’s Mission: To create a community resource center that improves the lives of people of diverse sexual orientations and gender expressions.
VVC’s vision is that all gay, lesbian, transgender, gender variant, bisexual people and allies (GLTBA) residing, working or visiting in Whatcom County have available to them a safe, secure, supportive, and visible community resource center that provides educational, recreational, and social networking opportunities and programs that promote growth, improve quality of life, and that increase this population’s potential to contribute to the local economy – “to level the playing field”. The community space will be the center of events, services, resources, allied organizations, and community leaders/activists.
