Village Shalom is Kansas City's premiere senior living community sponsored by the Kansas City Jewish community. Our sole mission is to enhance the quality of life of the older adults we serve.

In keeping with this mission, Village Shalom strives to preserve Jewish values and traditions, while at the same time protecting the dignity, the spirit and the heritage of all those who seek our services.

The Village Shalom Associate Board is a "young professionals" board of directors to Village Shalom. We exist to complement the efforts of Village Shalom in enhancing the quality of life of older adults.

We provide quality and meaningful volunteer and leadership opportunities for Jewish young adults and community members while encouraging interaction between volunteers and residents of Village Shalom.

We meet once a month at Village Shalom to organize the annual Beat the Heat Race and to allocate funds for programs that benefit those affected by Alzheimer's at Village Shalom.
