viBe Theater Experience (viBe) is a performing arts/ education organization that empowers teenage girls in New York City through the collaborative process of creating totally original performances. viBe creates a supportive artistic space where young women share their stories, celebrate their voices and re-imagine themselves and their communities. Our programs, productions, and publications guide girls to write, direct, design, record and perform truthful and collaborative performances in their own unique voices. viBe builds creative literacy skills that challenge girls to self-reflect and develop a creative voice while encouraging trust, self-confidence and mutual respect. Our girls learn to ignite diverse audiences to both listen and speak up for what they believe. Through the transformative aspects of performance, viBeGirls simply "Say It How It Is!"
