Description
The Veteran's Caucus of the American Academy of Physician Assistants is made
up of people who care. The Caucus represents over 7,500 PA's who are veterans of the Armed Forces.
Our mission is to promote the interests and contributions of the veteran through service, education and fraternity. Our goals are straight forward:
a.. Provide education and inspiration through its annual Memorial Day
Service, concurrent with the American Academy of Physician Assistant Annual
Conference
b.. Provide medical educational opportunities through an annual medical
education meeting
c.. Support the educational pursuits of veterans in physician assistant
programs through the awarding of scholarships
d.. Represent veterans' interests through collaboration with other veteran
organizations and the uniformed services
e.. Provide service through philanthropic activities
f.. Be an advocate for the diverse needs of veterans in regards to health
care
