Description

Dear Board of Directors or Sir or Madam:
Several LAUSD middle schools are looking for support for a Battle of the Books competition to be held in April at Van Nuys Middle School in Van Nuys. Kids are given a list of 30 books to read during the year, form teams, and are asked questions about the books for points.
We\'d like to provide Battle of the Books t-shirts, lunches for the kids, books, awards, trophies, and pins for the all-day event. If you would like to provide support please let me know or send a check to Van Nuys Middle School (LAUSD) Battle of the Books Fund at 5435 Vesper Ave. Sherman Oaks, CA 91411. A receipt will follow.
