Description
The VALLEY VIEW VAULTERS is a non-profit public benefit organization that was formed in 1980 specifically to work with both handicapped and non-handicapped people of all races, religions, sex, ages and abilities by using vaulting, gymnastics on the back of the moving horse. Through the use of 7 compulsory exercises and free style routines known as a “kur” vaulters learn to improve themselves by building strength, better health, self-esteem and team work while having fun and exercising.
We make use of the horse, those "Gentle Giants", as a learning tool which helps develop the best in our students. With our concept of working together, we pride ourselves in the teaching of vaulting to both handicapped and non-handicapped people of all ages and abilities. Teaching the fundamental abilities of walking, talking, thinking, making friends, and to feel good about themselves and lead more independent and productive lives.
