Description

Valley Mental Health Foundation (Valley Foundation) was established in 1994 as the fund-raising arm of Valley Mental Health. The mission of the Valley Foundation is to provide the financial resources necessary for special projects and programs for Valley Mental Health and to cultivate an environment that promotes the emotional and social well-being of Valley Mental Health clients.

Valley Mental Health is the Medicaid provider for mental health services for Salt Lake, Summit and Tooele Counties in Utah. Valley Mental Health operates 70 programs assisting approximately 20,000 clients yearly, 30 of our programs assist over 5,000 children and adolescents. Of the clients served by Valley Mental Health 75% are unemployed and live at or below the poverty level.
