Description
The foundation was approved for tax exemption under Section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code on December 5, 2000.
This foundation is the charitable arm of the United States Submarine Veterans, Inc. and was formed to further the creed of USSVI by assuming the responsibility of some of our USSVI activities which are charitable in nature.
The USSV Charitable Foundation (USSVCF) is administered by a Board of Directors made up of non-paid elected and appointed members.
Expenses incurred by the Charitable Foundation are minimal and consist of expenses such as postage, certificates, website fees, stationary supplies, and informative brochures.
