Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts

about

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts is a not-for-profit performing and visual arts day camp. The Center is situated on a 250 acre woodland campus in Huntington Long Islan. 1,600 children, ages 6-18, travel to Usdan each day to develop their talents in music, art, drama, dance, writing, nature, or chess. Students work with a professional faculty of artist-teachers, and they establish friendships with others who share their love of the arts. Usdan's daily program provides two hours in a major class, one hour in an elective class, and one hour in swim, tennis, or recreation. Since the Center's first season in 1968, more than 50,000 young people have studied at Usdan. The Center is an agency of UJA-Federation of New York.
