Description
Urban Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization that was founded by Cherie Carter in 2007. Urban Sanctuary’s mission is to promote culturally rich projects in conjunction with fund-raising events that raise our awareness to the needs and challenges facing individuals and communities within the urban landscape and beyond. Urban Sanctuary’s key motivation is to facilitate the elevation of our collective consciousness and accountability to one another by cultivating positive change. This undertaking will be accomplished by collaborating with like-minded individuals within the music – art and dance communities that share this common interest.
