The mission of the Urban League movement is to help African Americans and other minorities attain social and economic equality.
The fundamental objective of the Urban League is to enable those who are striving toward the mainstream to achieve economic self-reliance and to enjoy their rights as equal citizens under the law. We believe that this starts with training and developing today’s youth to become educated, socially responsible, economically self-reliant leaders of tomorrow.
The Urban League of Palm Beach County has been a leading provider of programs and services in the areas of youth and education, economic empowerment, crime prevention, community development and health services.
