"The Urban Entertainment Intitute is a non-profit organization headquartered in South Central Los Angeles, California that gives teens and young adults practical and working knowledge and training in all areas of the entertainment Industry--from the arts to business management. It was founded in 2002 by musical director and youth advocate Fred Martin, and is an after-school program where young people gather to learn the history of music and to professionally train in vocal, theatrical and musical performance.
