Description

Unsung Heroes Helping Heroes, Inc. is an organization of 9-11 responders, clean-up, rescue and recovery workers, and community members who support them. (Registered New York State Not for Profit Corporation; IRC 501(3)(c); Tax Id # is 54-2193098. NYS Attorney General Registered Charity # 40-31-42.

It is our mission to advocate, to inform the public and to raise funds to assist responders, clean-up rescue and recovery workers from the 9-11-01 World Trade Center disaster and other catastrophic events, in securing the necessary medical and psychological treatment, rehabilitation and pecuniary benefits.

We advocate for legislation to help such workers and their dependents. We disseminate information to the general public, the media, public officials and other responders, clean-up rescue and recovery workers about the health risks to which they may have been exposed, and the risks for which they should be prepared in the event of future disasters.
