Description
The UNC Dance Marathon is a year-long fundraiser for the North Carolina Children's Hospital that culminates with a 24-hour Dance Marathon where hundreds of student volunteers stand on their feet in support of the families of the North Carolina Children's Hospital. The For the Kids Fund is a unique fund that allows the UNC Dance Marathon to give directly to the families and patients of the N.C. Children's Hospital. The fund includes the Marathon 's entire annual fund-raising total. The money raised goes to cover costs not usually provided for by Medicaid or insurance such as utility and gas bills for families with children in the hospital.
