Description

SAIWI is a unique student group from the University of Nevada, Reno (Reno, NV) trying to develop an understanding of global water issues and apply our time and knowledge to promote lasting partnerships towards empowering others in dealing with water resources.

For this purpose, SAIWI organizes fundraisers to send student members to developing communities and purchase necessary tools to conduct projects. SAIWI collaborates those projects with other NGOs or institutions which know about local people, sites, and local culture well to maximize our work towards the sustainable development.

Also, we invite speakers knowledgeable in this field or organize the group discussion to educate ourselves and our community about the water resources issues.
