Description
This is a center for empowering children to become healthy adults. Go Kids is a research and training center at UMASS Boston collaboratiog with a host of schools, youth serving organizations hospitals and others to improve fitness in children and teens. By engaging kids in "exergaming" and "exerlearning" we are changing the trends in fitness participation and academics. Go Kids also trains undergrad and grad students in a variety of health related disciplines. Go Kids is affiliated with Children's Hospital Boston in the research and wellness of kids with asthma, diabetes, congenital heart disease and cancer.
