CAN YOU HANDLE IT???
DanceBlue is a year long fundraising effort culminating in a 24 hour no-sitting no-sleeping Dance Marathon. Throughout the year student and faculty groups raise money to benefit the Golden Matrix Fund.
100% of the money raised goes directly to The Golden Matrix Fund, which supports the UK Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic. Money helps pay for Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, and Pediatric Cancer Research. UK's Pediatric Clinic supports 4700 patients across 96 counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
March 2 and 3 was the second annual University of Kentucky Dance Marathon. Through the participation of Student Organizations we successully raised over $241,514.64 The leadership team would like to extend a huge thank you and congratulations to all who participated. The results are an example of what students can do when the unite together for an effort greater than any one individual.
