Description

Hawaii Cetecean Rehabilitation (HCRF) is being developed as the only existing cetacean rehabilitation center for the Hawaiian Islands. Its mission is to respond to, recover, rehabilitate, and release cetaceans in Hawaii. HCRF will provide hands on experience for volunteers!

Hilo Marine Mammal Response Network (HMMRN) is the organization of volunteers that supports HCRF and is trained to respond to Hawaiian Monk Seal sightings, seal pupping events, and stranded whales and dolphins.
