Description

UAMS, the home of Arkansas' only teaching hospital, with clinics covering every medical specialty and a staff of more than 1,100 doctors, is committed to improving the health of Arkansans. Located in Little Rock, Arkansas, the newly expanded hospital and outpatient clinics include centers of excellence for medical research and treatment of cancer, eye, spine, aging, myeloma and psychiatric conditions. Our research and educational programs inspire new knowledge that results in better diagnosis and more advanced patient care. UAMS currently receives only 9% of its funding from the state of Arkansas so, private philanthropic support is vitally important and appreciated.
