United Way of Sarasota County are partners in building a better community. We help donors reach out to people in our community who truly need help. United Way volunteers evaluate the needs of people in our community and make sure that contributions go to the most effective local programs available to serve those in need. Volunteers regularly review the progress of these programs to ensure that contributions are truly making a positive impact. Our goal is long-lasting change that prevents problems from happening in the first place. In Sarasota, we're focused on critical issues like Building Strong Children and Families, Rescuing People in Crisis and Empowering People to Independence.
