Description

Cancer patients and their families who are ineligible for Hospice, yet find they need assistance with prescriptions, transporation expenses, wigs, prosthesis, nutritional supplements and Information & Referral services can contact the United Way of Sandusky County (419.334.8938). A new Cancer Care Fund established by seed monies received from employees at the Community Health Services in 2006 is being made avaiilable to cancer patients and their families that cannot find assistance or lack medical health insurance coverage. NO other agency offers such assistance in Sandusky County, unless you are eligible for Hospice care. 100% of your donation will be used to offer assistance.
