Desert Communities United Way has been helping people in the High Desert for almost 50 years, since 1958. We have helped over 247,655 individuals last year alone, over half of the Victor Valley population. DCUW is led by a local volunteer board of directors ... professional business people, familiar with the needs in our area. DCUW uses experienced, trained, local volunteers to review our agency programs every year, so you know the money you give is spent wisely. DCUW uses the money raised here to support programs right here in the Victor Valley. We serve the communities of Adelanto, Apple Valley, Baldy Mesa, El Mirage, Helendale, Hesperia, Lucerne Valley, Oak Hills, Oro Grande, Phelan, Pinon Hills, Summit Valley, Victorville, and Wrightwood.
