Description

The mission of the United States Alliance of Emergency Medicine (USAEM) is to improve the quality of emergency medical care, and protect the interests of all professionals involved in the care of emergency patients. These professionals include, but are not limited to, physicians, physician extenders, nurses, paramedics and emergency medicine technicians who are involved in providing emergency care or transport.

The Alliance shall strive to improve the care of the critically ill or injured patient by establishing standards for a team-oriented approach among emergency care professionals and support the continuing education of these professionals. USAEM shall also support education of the general public in accident prevention, emergency treatment, and disease management and prevention.
