Description
A non-profit organzation focused on supporting families who are dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. We host an annual fundraiser, also called Bunko for Breast Cancer, that allows us to raise funds needed to purchase supplies and resources to facilitate support groups and opportunites for survivors, their caregivers and their families to connect. Our children's support group is called Beach Buddies and we work through a book, Life Isn't Always a Day at the Beach. The kids are given a beach pail filled with crafts and toys to make attending enjoyable and something to look forward to. We have also teamed up with local hospitals, physician's offices and pharmaceutical companies to provide us with educational materials for our families.
