Description
United Caring Shelters is located in downtown Evansville, Indiana. We provide food and shelter to individuals and families in need. Each day, our volunteers serve nearly 300 meals to men, women, and children. Each night, over 60 men stay in our Night Shelter. Our apartment program provides life skills training to help transition our guests to independence. We are always in need of support.
The staff and volunteers of United Caring Shelters, Inc., accept God's invitation to respond to our guest's needs with gracious hospitality, respect, kindness, patience, trust and support. We support and encourage our guests to a life of greater dignity, self worth, and harmony. We seek to serve as a community that will actively work to increase awareness of the issues of poverty and homelessness.
